ARREST MADE IN MARTIN BAR SHOOTING INCIDENT

Martin Police Make Arrest in Weekend Shooting

Martin, Tenn. Police Department Investigators have made an arrest in the December 31st shooting at Cadillac’s Bar which left one individual dead.

When officers arrived at the bar in the early morning hours, they found 19-year-old Cameron Houston of Union City, Tenn., on the floor, bleeding from multiple gun shot wounds. Houston was taken to Volunteer Hospital in Martin, where he died as the result of his injuries.

Arrested was 22 year-old Quardarious R. Davis of Union City, Tenn.

Davis is being held in the Dyer County jail awaiting transfer back to Weakley County.

Davis has been charged with 1 st Degree Murder, multiple counts of Reckless Endangerment (Serious Injury or Use of a Deadly Weapon), and Unlawful Carrying or Possession of a Weapon.

Investigation is still ongoing and more arrests may be forthcoming.
