SOUTH FULTON BRIDGE CLOSED

The "one lane" bridge at the intersection of McFall Street, Craig Street and Willow Drive, in South Fulton is now closed, by the South Fulton Public Works Department at the direction of South Fulton City Manager Jeff Gabbert. According to the press release issued by Gabbert this morning, the bridge experienced damage to the guard rails, and now appears to have "bad supports." The City of South Fulton will have engineers evaluate the bridge for stability prior to the consideration of re-opening the bridge.
