AREA OBITUARIES -- MARTHA JANE MCKNIGHT

Mrs. Martha Jane McKnight, age 97, of South Fulton, Tenn. passed away Monday, Jan. 29, 2024 at The Waters

of Union City.

She was born on October 10, 1926 in Paducah, Ky. to the late Austin B. "Pete" Roberts and Martha Lillian

Roberts.

Martha was a member of the Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church and may be remembered as a former

volunteer at the Fulton Public Library. She retired from the former Bellsouth-AT&T in Fulton, Ky., where she worked

in the business office.

She is survived by a daughter Rebecca McKnight (John Hamilton) of Germantown, Tenn. and several

nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bob McKnight, three sisters: Mary Frances Wilson, Barbara "Tootie" Samons and Carolyn Edwards.

A private service will be held at a later date.
