SFHS Red Devils among District 14A honorees

South Fulton High School’s Charles Michael Mulcahy and Brady McFarland earned spots on the District 14A All District boys’ basketball team for 2023-2024, announced Feb. 19 at SFHS. They joined Gleason’s Kyzer Crochet, Garrett Pinkston and Drake Lehmkuhl; Dresden’s Reese Bell, and Ardon Smith; Lake County’s Bendaros Triplet and Jeremy Ceasar; Greenfield’s Carson Wills, Cruze Porter; and Union City’s Joseph Lattus and Ben Kail.

The District 14A Boys Basketball All Tournament Team includes South Fulton’s Brady McFarland, Camden Chamberlain, Lake County, Carrett Pinkston and Drake Lehmkuhl, Gleason, and Union City’s Joseph Lattus, C.J. Davis and Makaki Brooks, MVP.

Union City’s Malaki Brooks was named 2023-2024 Player of the Year and Gleason Coach Mike Riggs, 2023-2024 Coach of the Year.

South Fulton Red Devil senior Jackson Barnes was named to the 2024 District 14-A Boys Basketball Academic Team, joining Dresden’s Reese Bell, Ross Finney, Tristin Jett, Cameron Schlicht, Nick Turnbo; Gleason’s Kyzer Crochet, Garrett Pinkston; Greenfield’s Brady Warren, Contrevious Williams, Carson Wills; Lake County’s Jamarquis Allen, Kadrian Blackburn, Jeremy Ceaser, Jordon Molina; and Union City Joseph Lattus and Jack Tully.

South Fulton’s Dane Cirkles earned a spot on the 2023-24 District 14A All Defensive Team, joining Camden Chamberlain of Lake County, Carson Wills of Greenfield and Malaki Brooks of Union City. Union City’s C.J. Davis was named Defensive Player of the Year.
