Bradshaw scores 1000th point in Red Devil win

The South Fulton Red Devils and Lady Red Devils hosted the Gleason Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs Jan. 4.

The Lady Red Devils were defeated 58-34, as Allison Murphy led the Lady Red Devils in scoring with 10 points. All of Murphy’s points came from her five field goals.

Sophia McMinn added five points for the Lady Red Devils.

Marli Buchanan and Amber Lemon each had four points.

Erin McDaniel had a three point basket for her three points.

Nece Quinn, CaShayah McClerkin, and Aaliyah McKnight each added two points.

Sophia Hodges and Kailey Mayo had one point each.

The Lady Red Devils hit eight of their 12 (67%) free throws.

The Lady Red Devils now have a record of 3-10.

The Red Devils tacked another win onto their record against the Gleason Bulldogs. Although this night was not just a win for the Red Devils, it was a special night for senior Dashun Bradshaw, as well.

Starting the game, Bradshaw was 21 points away from his 1,000th career point. Bradshaw ended the game with a total of 25 points. Bradshaw’s points came from a total of eight field goals and hitting nine of his 13 points.

Brock Brown had a total of 14 points. His points came from five field goals, one-three point basket, and one free throw.

Bryce McFarland added six points. Rider Whitehead and Beau Britt each had four points.

The Red Devils hit 15 of their 25 (60%) free throws.

The Red Devils are now 6-8.
