FULTON CITY COMMISSION MEETING FEB. 26
The Fulton City Commission will meet for regular session on Feb. 26 at 6 p.m. in the Fulton City Hall Commission Room. The meeting is open to the public. The following items are listed on the agenda: invocation; Pledge of Allegiance; Roll Call; Remarks and Requests from Visitors; City Attorney's Report; 1. Consider Municipal Order 2023-63, approval of minutes of regular meeting Feb 12; old business: 1. second reading of ordinance 2024-03, to amend the city's zoning map to reflect zoning change of property at 400 Nolan Avenue from Service District, 8, to General Business, C-3, District on the Planning and Zoning Board recommendation; New business: 1. Consider Municipal Order 2023-64, authorization for Mayor Prater to sign an agreement for the city's employee drug testing program with Hamilton Ryker; 2. Consider Municipa Order 2023-65 authorization for Mayor Prater to sign a license agreement with Amtrak for the city to provide landscaping care for the new Amtrak station; 3. Consider Municipal Order 2023-06, authorization for City Manager Mike Gunn to send response to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet indicating the city's desire to participate in the Municipal Road Aid COOP program for the fiscal year 2025; 4. Consider Municipal Order 2023-67, authorization for City Manager Mike Gunn to use ARPA funding to cover repair cost of the Water Plant Aerator with an estimated cost of $16,875; 5. Consider Municipal Order 2023-68 authorization for City Manager Gunn to hire Daniel Wyant as full time Police Patrol Officer on Chief Allen Poole's recommendation; 6. Consider Municipal Order 2023-69 authorization to hire Billy Bolton as General worker in the public works department based on City Manager Gunn's and Public Works Director Steven Wiser's recommendation and rescind Municipal Order 2023-61, on the hiring of Joey Hannon; 7. Discussion on Notification of an Award from Kentucky Fire Commission grant for personal protective equipment for the Fulton Fire Department; 8.
