TWIN CITIES CHAMBER AWARD NOMINEES ANNOUNCED TWIN CITIES CHAMBER AWARD NOMINEES ANNOUNCED

This year's Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce, Fulton, Ky.-South Fulton, Tenn. annual award nominees have been announced.

Nominees for Educator of the Year are: Charity Holliman - 2nd Grade- Fulton Independent School; Melashia Holt- 2nd grade Special Education - South Fulton; Bethany Carter - Middle School Science- Fulton Independent School

;Cheryl Ogg - Alternative 6-12 - South Fulton; Allen Poole - High School Career/Technical Teacher- Fulton Independent; and David Byars - English 6-12 - South Fulton.

Business of the Year nominees include: First Community Bank of the Heartland, Inc.; Joanns; Constant Auctions

;HD Graphics; Fulton County Transit; Shark Fish & Chicken; Fancy Fannie's Bakery; Kingdom Kids Learning Center. LLC; Lenny's at Reed Brothers; and Evans Drug Company.

Industry of the Year nominees include Waymatic, Inc.; Premier Portable Buildings; Jackson Purchase Distillery;

Trailers By Premier; and Kayser Automotive Systems USA.

First Responder of the Year nominees include: Nathan Lamb (Fulton Fire & Code Enforcement); Kenneth Walker (South Fulton Fire Chief in 2023); Teresa Decker (911 Dispatcher); Jordan Jones (EMS Director); Allen Poole ( Fulton Police Chief); Steven Lang (Fulton Fire Chief); John Curtis (South Fulton Fire Department in 2023, current Chief); Mason Lee (South Fulton Fire Department); Mitchell Maynard (South Fulton Police Chief); and Eric Byassee (Fulton Police Officer).

Citizen of the Year nominees include: Kathye Stem; Mason Lee; Anthony Constant; Terry Hollenback; Melanie Gunn; Kim Jobe; Daniel Thomas; and Lynnita Pierce.

Young Professional of the Year nominations include Mason Lee; Andrew Gibson; Gabriella Buckingham

Anna Morgan; Sherry Cook-Pyatt; Mitchell Maynard; and Pamela Constant.

All current Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce cast their vote in each category, and in the case of a tie, the Chamber Board members cast their vote in that specific category.vote.

Tickets are still available for this year's Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce annual Awards Banquet, set for April 23, at 6 p.m. at Discovery Park of America, Union City, Tenn., where awards will be presented.

A meal, catered by Bluebird Bistro, Fulton, with dessert by Fancy Fannie's Bakery, Fulton, will be included in the ticket price, at $35 per person or $300 for a table of 10.

A Silent Auction fundraiser will also be held throughout the evening.
