Fundraiser for U.S. Coast Guard

The Hickman Chamber of Commerce sponsored a “Sweets with the Sailors” at Fulton County High School cafeteria on Jan. 24. Desserts were available and donations were accepted to assist members of the United States Coast Guard Cutter Chena in Hickman with extra expenses. With the government shut-down the crew members have not been receiving pay, and the community came together to help.
