Builders Supply constructs solid business foundation

Builders Supply, located at 111 Forestdale in South Fulton, has been in business since 1976.

Owner Jim Boyd and his staff, are open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 7 a.m. to 12 noon.

Why was a location within the community of the Twin Cities, in South Fulton, chosen for the business location? locate here? Following a fire at the previous location, where the business was started, the current location was Boy's choice. 

He resides in Wingo, and enjoys fishing in his spare time.

That spare time can come a little easier for the owner now, as his dedicated staff consists of Darla Tucker, Amber Boyd, Tammy Puckett, Eddie King, Amy Haley, Sean Morris, Charles Stoval, Mike Frizzell, Skyler Rushing, Seth Jones and Trey Morris.

One interesting fact most may not know about Builder's Supply, is that the business actually started as a concrete business in Wingo.

A difficulty in operations for small business, the staff will attest, is, as a small business, providing the same service people believe they should get, as is found in a much larger, big box store.

But the easiest, and best part, for those who work at Builders Supply, is getting to know their customers on a personal basis.
