Discovery Park of America in Union City, Tenn. will kick off STEAM Saturday Feb. 16 at 9:30 a.m. with Saturday morning Science, the Science of Sound, followed by Roots of Rhythm presented by the UTM Percussion. at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Guests may make their own tambourine during Kids Create at 1:30 p.m. and take it to the 2 p.m. showing of Roots of Rhythm. Saturday Morning Science is free to the public, and all other events are free with park admission.

Discovery Park will be open Presidents Day, Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a $10 admission for ages four and up, for those who are not members. The Tower will be free that day with Lego Bricks exhibit open for an additional $4.95 per person, to experience the over 20 skyscrapers from around the world, and the opportunity for viewers to build Lego creations as well. Starship Theater and Earthquake Simulator will be closed Feb. 18.

The Discovery Park Homeschool Day is Feb. 19, with DPA members receiving free admission into the park, and the 2 p.m. program is $8 general admission for non-members and $6 for the program.
