Landslide in Hickman threatens church

Heavy rainfall passing through Fulton County Feb. 19 contributed to a landslide in Hickman.

The slide is located behind Hickman First United Methodist Church on Church St. in Hickman.

The already saturated grounds caved in when three more inches of rain fall overnight on Tuesday.

The Life Enrichment Center, parsonage, church, and other buildings are in danger if possibly collapsing down the slide.

Church officials are in the process to see what corrective.measures might be utilized to help.
