South Fulton Probation Search leads to drug charges

The South Fulton Police Department backed up the Obion County Sheriff's Department officers Feb. 22, according to SFPD Chief Andy Crocker, in conducting a probation search at 402 Bates St. in South Fulton, where upon arrival, officers observed the odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence. The investigation revealed 2.9 pounds of high grade marijuana and THC wax, according to the Obion County Sheriff's Department report. Paul Carmody, 38 of South Fulton and Tracy Franks, 29 of South Fulton were charged with Possession of Schedule VI with intent to distribute.
