W.G Maddox, 68, of South Fulton, Tenn., passed away peacefully at his residence on Sun., May 18, 2025.
Born June 4, 1956, in Fulton, Ky., to the late Thomas Richard Maddox Sr. and Ruth Hayes Graham Maddox, WG lived a life marked by family, faith, and dedication.
A devoted member of the Fulton First United Methodist Church, WG dedicated many years of his working life as a Service Trucker for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City, Tenn.
WG is survived by his wife of 42 ½ years, Vickie Maddox; his son, Heath Maddox, of Thompson’s Station, Tenn.; and his daughter, Chantelle Campbell, of South Fulton, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Faith O’Neill, of Dukedom, Tenn., Brennan O’Neill, of Union City, Tenn., and Hannah Campbell, of Union City, Tenn.; and five cherished great-grandchildren, Vaeda Kelly and Kaiden O’Neill, of Dukedom, Tenn., Sierra Kelly, of Dukedom, Tenn., Layla O’Neill, of Tiptonville, Tenn., and Malachi Watts, of Union City, Tenn.; a sister, Ann Ray (David) Elliott, of Fulton, Ky.; a brother-in-law, Mike McClanahan, of Union City, Tenn.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, WG was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Richard Maddox Jr.
A graveside service celebrating WG’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wed., May 21, 2025, at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, with Bro. Paul Adams officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, Ky.

Memorials can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
