Hickman Juneteenth Celebration to be held June 20-21

The Hickman Juneteenth Celebration Committee, organizer Tim Smith, will sponsor a Juneteenth Celebration in Hickman, at Floyd Keith Park June 20-21, with vendors and concessions set-up available for reserved time slots for $15. Non-profits may set up at no cost.
On June 20, beginning at 11 a.m. and June 21, from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m., a block party will take place at Floyd Keith Park, and will include an evening of soulful music, food and a celebration of freedom and culture, featuring DJ Gutta Baby.
Juneteenth Freedom Day Parade will take place June 21, with line up at 8 a.m. on the bluff. The parade will start at 9 a.m. For information and parade registration, contact organizer Tim Smith, 270-214-5239.
Jam Fest will begin at 10 a.m. June 21, "5 v 5", $100 per team registration. Contact Timothy Smith or Malcom Caldwell, Sr. for more information or to register. At 12 noon on Sat., June 21, a cornhole tournament will take place, with entry fee of $50 per team. Event organizer Tim Smith or coordinator Ryan "Red" Barnett may be contacted for registration.
