Temporary daytime closures on KY 2149/Airport Road in Fulton County starting Mon., July 14

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning temporary daytime closures along KY 2149/Airport Road in Fulton County, starting on Mon., July 14.
The closure will affect KY 2149/Airport Road from U.S. 51 to KY 1461, at the entrance to the airport. This is between mile points 2.2 and 1.1.
Crews will begin work around 8 a.m. each day to address base failures along the roadway.
This stretch of KY 2149/Airport Road will reopen daily at approximately 3 p.m.
Work is expected to last about three days, weather permitting.
There will be no marked detour. However, access to the airport is still available via KY 166 and KY 1909.
