Winners of 2025 Banana Festival Pistol, Turkey Shoot announced

The annual Banana Festival Pistol & Turkey Shoot was held Sat., Sept. 13th, and drew numerous participants of all skill levels for a day filled with friendly competition and community spirit. 

There was participation from seasoned marksmen and first-time shooters alike. 

“Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the event!” said Fulton Police Department Ofc. Alyssa Taylor.

The following are the winners in each of the categories: 1st Place Female Class - Semi-Auto - Callie Tucker; 1st Place Novice Class - Semi-Auto - Carter Myatt; 1st Place Novice Class - Revolver - Matthew Shadowens; 1st Place Master Class - Semi-Auto - Brian McClure; 1st Place Master Class - Revolver - Brian McClure; 1st Place Expert Class - Semi-Auto - Brian McClure; 1st Place Expert Class - Revolver - RC Mooney; 1st Place .22 Class - Semi-Auto - RC Mooney; Top Gun Competition Winner - RC Mooney; and Turkey Shoot Winner - Carter Myatt.
