Pecan Fest to be held Oct. 18

The Hickman Recreation and Tourism Committee has announced the schedule of events for this year’s Pecan Fest, to be held at Jeff Green Memorial Park, in Hickman, Ky., Sat., Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
This year’s schedule includes: 9 a.m., Opening Prayer; 9 - 10:30 a.m., Robert Goodman; 10:45 - 11:45 a.m., Liberty Boys; 12 noon - 2 p.m., Stronghold; 2:15 - 3:15 p.m., Woody Woodruff; 3:15 - 4:15 p.m., Jay Black; 4:30 - 6 p.m., Scott Shell and Melissa McKelvey Parrish; and 6 p.m., Closing.
Attendees can engage in various fun and meaningful activities that contribute to the cause.
Live entertainment will be provided, as attendees experience captivating performances by local talents.
Also available will be delicious food, as attendees enjoy a delectable spread of food and refreshments throughout the event with amazing vendors.
