Fulton County Schools Superintendent Aaron Collins recommended a Fulton Independent Schools Non-Resident contract for “Any and All as well as $30,000 in cash for the 2019-2020 school year” as a contract offer, during special called session Wednesday evening. Fulton County Schools will pay the $30,000 to Fulton Independent, with the "any and all" contract designation.

The meeting, March 13, was held in the Board’s Conference Room with two items on the agenda and Board members Jacob Goodman, Petty Turner, Rob Garrigan, and Kimberly Hagler present. Barry Patrick was absent.

The meeting was called to order at 6 p.m., and immediately went into closed session pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(F) for the purpose of a student hearing. The meeting returned to open session with no action taken.

Supt. Collins said, “I really appreciate the Fulton Independent Schools being a partner in education with us. We have had a long standing relationship with them on the Four Rivers Foundation, and the Four Rivers Career Academy, and we’re thankful for their partnership in education," regarding the non-resident contract proposal and action taken.

The Board also amended the school calendar, March 15 will not be a professional day, it will be a teacher day.
