Fiscal Court to explore options to fund ambulance

The Fulton County Fiscal Court did not approve the second and final reading of a proposed tax to fund Ken-Tenn Ambulance Service during its recent meeting Monday morning, Oct. 20.
After hearing from several members of the public and holding lengthy discussion, the court voted to table the measure while continuing to explore solutions that better meets the needs of Fulton Countians.
Many options were considered, but both magistrates and residents agreed that any plan moving forward should ensure everyone who uses the service is charged fairly.
