AREA OBITUARIES – Catherine Hardy

Catherine Hardy, age 83, of Fulton, Ky., passed away Thurs., Oct. 16, 2025 at the Clinton- Hickman County I.C.F. in Clinton, Ky.
She was born on March 19, 1942 in West Point, Miss., to the late James Johnson and Francis Buntin Johnson.
Catherine was a member of the First Christian Church in Hickman, Ky., and retired from Walmart after 30 years. She was a member of the Master Gardener Association of West Tennessee. She lived all of her life in this area.
She is survived by a son, Jim (Christi) Hardy, of South Fulton, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Katie (Justin) Motes, of Mayfield, Ky., Adam (Tessa Sutherland) Peregrine, of Fulton, Ky., and Kelton and Lawson Hardy, both of South Fulton, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren, Katie Grace Haywood, Davis Haywood, Justin Motes, Jr. and Maggie Motes; a son-in-law, Duane Peregrine, of Mayfield, Ky.; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelton Hardy; a daughter, Catherine Peregrine; a brother, Terry Johnson; and a sister, Carol Dallas.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sun., Oct.26, 2025 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
