AREA OBITUARIES – Martha Allen

Martha Virginia Allen, age 91, of Water Valley, Ky., passed away on Thurs., Nov. 27, 2025, at the Clinton-Hickman County I.C.F.
She was born on March 21, 1934, in Fulton, Ky., to the late Melvin Stephens and Mary Austin Stephens.
Martha was a devoted member of Mt. Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was employed for many years with the former Henry I. Siegel (H.I.S.) Company, where she served as a floor supervisor. She enjoyed reading and fishing, and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan.
She is survived by her children, Eddie (Pam) Allen, of Water Valley, Ky.; Neilly (Debbie) Allen, of South Fulton, Tenn.; Mack (Lisa) Allen, of Water Valley, Ky.; and Otis (Melinda) Allen, of Murray, Ky.; along with nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and one brother, James Russell Stephens, of Flint, Mich.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Allen; a grandson, Brian Allen; a brother, Porter Stephens; and a sister, Elwanda Greer.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Mon., Dec. 1, 2025 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Wesley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
