AREA OBITUARIES – Betty Workman

Betty Workman, age 92, of Fulton, Ky., passed away on Thurs., Dec. 25, 2025, at Fulton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fulton, Ky.
She was born in Fulton, Ky., to the late Lee Estes and Carrie Bramlett Estes.
She was a homemaker and spent most of her life in the Fulton area.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Jim) Tull of Fulton, Ky.; her son, James R. (Kathy) Workman, of Union City, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Mike) Palmer, of Bradford, Tenn., Amy (Scott) Prather, of South Fulton, Tenn., Lori (Dale) Nelson, of Milan, Tenn., and Jerry David (Mandy) Hopper, of Pinson, Tenn.; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Aaron Workman; one brother, Charles “Sonny” Estes; and three sisters, Marie Glover, Polly Day, and Carolyn Durham.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., Dec. 27, 2025, at Obion County Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the time of service.
