AREA OBITUARIES – William Owen Cruce

William Owen Cruce, age 81, of Wingo, Ky., passed away on Thurs., Dec. 25, 2025, at the Baptist Health in Paducah, Ky.
He was born in Obion County, Tenn., to the late John Richard Cruce and Mary Lovella Elkins Cruce. He was an electrician and inspector for the Ford Motor Company, and after his retirement, he worked for the South Fulton Elementary School.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna Rickman Cruce, of Wingo, Ky., whom he married on March 24, 1965, in Dresden, Tenn. He is also survived by a son, Richard William Cruce, of Wingo, Ky.; and a brother, Bobby Joe Cruce, of Jacksonville, Fla.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tues., Dec.30, 2025, at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, Ky.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Pilot Oak, Ky. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service.
