The Obion County Budget Committee will meet on Mon., May 4 at 8 a.m. in the meeting room of the Obion County Mayor’s Office.

Items on the Agenda include: Meeting will open with prayer; Pledge of Allegiance; Approve minutes from April 20, 2026, meeting; 1. 2024 Obion County Taxes To Be Released; 2. Highway Department Budget Amendment; 3. Register of Deeds Request for Tourism Funds; 4. Appointments, Insurance Committee (one-year term), Long Range Planning (two-year term), Nursing Home Board (one-year term), and Parks and Rec (one-year term); 5. Notaries; 6. Any other business or budget transfers that need to be brought before the budget committee; 7. Westate Corrections Network; 8. Litter and Solid Waste; 9. Health Department; 10. Health Department Appropriation to State; 11. Courtroom Security; 12. Obion County Sheriff; 13. Obion County Jail; 14. Drug Fund; 15. Juvenile Court; 16. Soil Conservation; 17. Obion County Library; and 18. Adjournment.

The Ken-Tenn EMS Board will meet in special called session Mon., May 4 at 1 p.m. at the Fulton EMS Base. The meeting is open to the public.
