Fulton Tourism Commission to meet May 14

The Fulton Tourism Commission will meet at 5 p.m. Thurs., May 14 in the Fulton City Hall Small Conference Room.
Irene on the agenda include: Call to Order; Roll Call; Approval of Minutes; Financial Reports; Old Business, 1% Restaurant Tax (Will go in effect July 1, 2026); Banana Festival Update; Murals In The Downtown (We have a first possible mural); and City E-mail Addresses; New Business, Farmers Market Events (1st Saturday of the month); FY 20-27 Draft Budget Proposal, and Letter to City of Fulton Requestion to use Tourism Tax Funding; Executive Session in Compliance With KRS 61.810 & 61.815; Other Business, Fulton Tourism Director Kenney Etherton will be in Memphis, Tenn. May 18-19, 2026 for the Propel Conference, and Working Inmates Crew on Clean Up Projects; and 9. Adjournment.
