Twin Cities help out kids at Ronald McDonald House through Round Up program
May 28, 2026
The Twin Cities community recently raised vital funds to help support families staying at Ronald McDonald House. The chapter has two programs located in Memphis and Jackson, Tenn.
The community raised $1,200 last month through the McDonald’s restaurant’s Round Up program. These funds will help provide lunch for families for four days at the Ronald McDonald House. Through the McDonald’s Round-Up program, customers can donate their change for families by rounding up their order to the nearest dollar.
Thanks to the McDonald’s crew for asking, and the community for choosing to round up, the Ronald McDonald House mission of keeping sick or injured children near the care they need with the family they love can continue serving families.
“Ronald McDonald House is truly blessed to not only have McDonald’s as its forever partner, but the Fulton, KY team’s efforts and the community’s participation in Round Up for the House are positively impacting lives and helping to keep our doors open to serve families with children who are ill or injured. We are so thankful for their partnership and leadership in raising money and awareness for Ronald McDonald House,” said Jill Crocker, Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House West Tennessee and Northeast Arkansas.
When visiting a McDonald’s restaurant, you can help support families with sick or injured children by choosing to round up your order total when placing an order through the app, at the kiosk, counter, or drive-thru.
Spare change may also be dropped in any of the donation boxes in the restaurant or drive-thru.
