Natural gas service interrupted in Hickman due to four-way construction

Natural gas service has been temporarily interrupted throughout the town of Hickman, Ky. as construction continues at the city’s four-way intersection.
According to a notice from the City of Hickman, the ongoing construction has left the entire town without natural gas service. City officials said service will be restored once the construction work is completed and it is safe to do so.
Residents are being urged not to attempt to relight natural gas appliances while service is interrupted.
The city acknowledged that the outage may cause inconvenience for residents and businesses and thanked the community for its patience and cooperation as work continues to improve local roads and infrastructure.
