Fulton County Schools to Host Parent’s Luncheon Oct. 14

Fulton County Schools will host a Parent’s Luncheon on Wed., Oct. 14, giving parents an opportunity to have lunch with their children at school.
The luncheon will include students from preschool through high school, with designated lunch times for each grade level.
Preschool students will begin the day with breakfast with their parents from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m. in the cafeteria.
Lunch times for elementary and middle school students are scheduled as follows: Kindergarten: 10:45-11:10 a.m.; First Grade: 10:55-11:20 a.m.; Second Grade: 11:15-11:40 a.m.; Third Grade: 11:25-11:50 a.m.; Fourth Grade: 11:40 a.m.-12:05 p.m.; Fifth Grade: 11:50 a.m.-12:15 p.m.; Sixth Grade: 12:05-12:30 p.m.; and Seventh and Eighth Grades: 12:30-12:55 p.m.
High school students will have two lunch periods. First lunch is scheduled for 10:38-11:03 a.m., while second lunch will run from 11:28-11:53 a.m.
The luncheon will cost $5.25 per person, with payment made at the door.
The menu will include a choice of BBQ nachos or a cheeseburger, along with tater tots, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, assorted fruit and a carnival cookie. A salad bar option will also be available. Beverages will include tea, lemonade or water.
Parents are asked to RSVP using the QR code.
School officials also remind parents that state law requires visitors to present an official ID to enter the school building during school hours.
