Coding Botley the robot

April 16, 2019

Fulton’s Carr Elementary fifth grade students Jordan, Joseph Mathis, Ethan Pettigrew, and Jamar Martin are shown in computer class learning to code Botley, the Robot. With this process, the students can communicate with Botley and program the robot to drive in different directions and speeds. This is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) based learning project that teaches the students basic coding concepts, critical thinking, spatial concepts, and collaboration and teamwork.
