Quilts of Love

April 30, 2019

Fulton County Homemakers recently finished five quilts for the Center for Courageous Kids in Scottsville. The center is a year-round medical camp serving children and their families suffering from chronic medical conditions or life-threatening illnesses. The Center has 20 family retreat weekends during the spring and fall for campers between three and 17 and their entire family; and nine weeks of traditional summer camp for children between seven and 15. Each weekend and week of summer camp is illness-specific. Homemakers, pictured with four of the handmade quilts, include front row, from left, Blondell Sadler, and Alicia Walker; and back row, Nancy Cunn, Telitha Fulcher, Ann Freeman, Nancy Grasfeder, and Sandra Lusk.
