The Fulton Police Department received information from the Pennsylvania State Police May 28, that Steven Alan Deluke was staying at Kingsway Motel in Fulton.

Deluke was a fugitive with active arrest warrants out of Pennsylvania for Rape by Forcible Compulsion, Aggravated Indecent Assault by Forcible Compulsion and several other related charges.

Officers with the Fulton Police Department and the South Fulton Police Department made contact with Deluke at his hotel room at Kingsway Motel and he was arrested without incident.

The Pennsylvania State Police obtained arrest warrants for Deluke after DNA collected during the investigation into the rape of a 14-year-old female in August 2018, was matched to Deluke using the CODIS system. CODIS is the Combined DNA Index System that is maintained by the FBI which collects and stores DNA profiles from known offenders and is searchable by law enforcement to identify suspects in violent crimes.

Deluke was charged in Fulton County for being a fugitive from justice and he is awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
