2019 Honors Scholarships awarded to grads

One recently graduated member of the Fulton High School Class of 2019, as well as a member of the South Fulton High School graduating Class of 2019, has been awarded the annual Honors Scholarship.

Crescentia Leann Marie Purcell, a Fulton High School graduate, was the Honors Scholarship recipient, and Blake Anthony Johnson, a South Fulton High School graduate was also a recipient.

Purcell is the daughter of Autenee Purcell and Justin Purcell, and plans to attend Berea College. She was the Salutatorian of her class, achieved the A/B honor roll, was the American History award winner, a member of the Track and Wrestling teams and academic team.

Johnson is the son of Kelly O’Connell and the late Donald Johnson. He plans to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin. He was included in the Top 10 Academic ranking of his class and graduated as a Challenge Program graduate.
