WIND DAMAGE FOLLOWING GUSTS REPORTEDLY 70 TO 90 MPH

PERGOLA PICK UP -- The recently constructed pergola in South Fulton's Unity Park took a tumble during this evening's winds, with reports of gusts up to 70 to 90 miles per hour.
STREET BLOCKED -- South Fulton Fire Department was on the scene in South Fulton, where a downed tree blocked the roadway, following the extreme wind experienced in the area this evening.
CITY CLEAN UP -- City of South Fulton equipment came in handy following trees reported down in multiple locations throughout the city.
TREE TOPPLE AND POWER LINE PROBLEM -- This tree in South Fulton shattered, taking with it a power line. Reportedly the neighborhood experienced a power outage.
Downed trees, hanging power lines and other damages resulted from the high winds in the area this early evening between 5:30 and 6 p.m. in South Fulton and Fulton, with some residences and businesses without power for a period of time.
A healthy Fulton County requires great community news.
