Director of Schools contract to be considered Monday

The Obion County School Board will meet in special called session July 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Board Office in Union City, Tenn., with one item on the agenda, Approval of Contract for Director of Schools.

Timothy Watkins, currently Principal of McKenzie, Tenn., High School was the board's choice of candidates interviewed, following an initial interview of four applicants, and a second interview of two, one of which was Watkins.

The meeting is open to the public.
