Jan S. Phipps, a resident of Hickman, died Sept. 21 at Baptist Health in Paducah. She was 60.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sept. 24 at Strong Funeral Home, in Hickman, Sept. 24 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jason Sipes officiating. Burial followed in the Hickman City Cemetery. Allen Love, Brandon Watts, Wes Blasingim, Ryne Choate and Kenneth Knight served as pallbearers. Her grandsons, Damyen Goodrich, Thorne Massey and Keegan Goodrich served as honorary pallbearers. Visitationw as held from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Sept. 24 at Strong Funeral Home.

Strong Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her mother, Shirley Modene Totty, of Hickman; two daughters, Brandy Goodrich, of Paducah, and Jamie Goodrich, of Hickman; a brother, Charles (Chuck) Totty, of Union City, Tenn.; her loyal companion, Lannie Phipps, Sr. of Hickman; four grandchildren, Damyen Goodrich and Thorne Massey, both of Hickman, Keegan Goodrich, of Paducah and Bekah Ballard, of Ripley, Tenn.; two nieces; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Totty; and a sister, Joy Totty.

Born Feb. 16, 1959 in Fulton County, she was a wonderful person and loved so much by her family and friends.
