One Bulldog down following Webster loss

Fulton Bulldog Kire Tribble went down in the third quarter of action at Webster County Friday night, the result of a knee injury, which will keep him sidelined for this Friday’s matchup at Halls, Tenn. Team mate Camarae Cobb also came out late in the fourth quarter with a severe cramp.
Head Football Coach Harold Hutcherson transported 12 Bulldogs by bus, the nearly two hour trip to Webster County, and he brought them home a little banged up, following the 50-6 loss.
“We had a lot of missed tackles,” said Hutcherson, pointing out Davarious Scott’s five solo tackles and two assists as bright spots in an otherwise lackluster defensive performance.
The Coach is pleasantly surprised with his offense at this point halfway through the season. With Jahiem King seeming to have found his calling at the Quarterback position, making three good passes during the game, two to Kire Tribble and one to Camarae Cobb, King also held on to the ball to take it in for the lone Bulldog TD. Hutcherson said that’s the spot where he will stay.
“He is settling in there, and learning the plays,” the Coach said. With Kire Tribble out this week, Cobb will be at wide receiver.
On Oct. 4, the Bulldogs will celebrate Homecoming and Senior Night, against Ballard County.
