Rev. Roberson to be honored re-naming of Hickman Street

Rev. James Roberson of Hickman will be honored with the change of a street name in Hickman on Oct. 12.

Fourth Street will be changed to Rev. James Roberson Way during a dedication at the corner of Fourth Street and Ivey Street at 12 p.m. The celebration will continue downtown Hickman with cake and punch at a tent set up for Rev. Roberson.

A Fall Festival will be held downtown Hickman from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. with food and craft vendors, games and music.

Activities during the day are sponsored by the Hickman Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the People of Diversity.
