Fall Festival, Halloween events plentiful in area

Cayce Baptist Church will host a Fall Fest Oct. 26, from 4 – 8 p.m. at the church. Activities for the night include cake walk, bingo, soda pop ring toss, photo booth, Harvest Festival Hayride and Fish Fry will all the trimmings

Cayce United Methodist Church will host a Trunk or Treat, on the church lawn, Oct. 26, from 5-7 p.m. Little ones are invited to enjoy games, roasting hot dogs, making s’mores and surprises.

Fulton County Emergency Management and other Emergency Services, local businesses, school groups, and churches will host their annual Emergency Management Safe Halloween Program Trunk or Treat at Jeff Green Memorial Park on Bernal Avenue in Hickman Oct. 31, beginning at 5 p.m.

Emergency Management will also provide glow ropes to the Fulton Police Department to distribute to trick-or-treaters.

On Halloween night, Oct. 31, Fulton’s Third Street will be blocked off to traffic to ensure safety for trick-or-treaters.

This year, a pumpkin decorating contest and costume contest will be part of the planned activities on Third Street, with decorated or carved pumpkins taken to the table in the 200 block of Third Street between 5 – 6 p.m.

Costume contest entries may have photos made at 211 Third St., for the costume contest.

Prizes will be awarded.

Jackson Chapel Church will host a Fall Fest. Oct. 26 from 5-8 p.m.

South Fulton Baptist Church, 1500 Broadway in South Fulton will host a Fall Fest Oct. 27 from 2-6 p.m. on the church grounds.

Hayrides, pumpkin patch and other family friendly activities are planned, at no cost to those in attendance.

The public is invited to attend all events.
