Benefit set to assist Lane family

A chili, soup and silent auction benefit for Justin, Katie, and Rowan Lane will be held Nov. 16, starting at 5 p.m., in the Fulton County High School Cafeteria.

Katie Lane went into preterm labor at 23 weeks with her twins, with both babies delivered by c-section on Aug. 14.

Baby Harper Lane passed away Aug. 15 and baby Rowan Lane continues to fight daily, getting stronger each day and is expected to be in the hospital at least until December.

The benefit will help the family with medical bills and other financial needs while at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
