Lowes grant to fund FIS outdoor classroom

Fulton Independent staff and Lowes employees from the Union City, Tenn. store teamed up Nov. 5 to work on the outdoor classroom at Fulton High School. Once completed, the amphitheater style setting will be able to accommodate a full classroom of students. The school district was awarded a grant from Lowes for the project’s construction.
