Area seniors invited to ‘Socialize with Santa’

Smiles On Seniors, S.O.S. will host the organization’s first Seniors Santa Social Dec. 5 from 4-6 p.m. at the Harvey Vick Community Room, in the South Fulton Municipal Complex. The Harvey Vick Room may be accessed through the rear parking lot entrance of the building.

All area seniors, ages 55 and older are invited to attend the Christmas season event, which will feature a magic show, door prize give-aways, refreshments and a visit and photo opportunity with Santa himself.

According to Sharye Hendrix, S.O.S. coordinator, “At Christmas, some seniors are overlooked. Some no longer have family or friends to celebrate the holidays with and we want Christmas to be for everyone, including senior citizens who have helped make Christmas special for others for many years. Now, it is their turn, to let us help them celebrate for Christmas.”

There is no charge to attend this social gathering, and reservations are not required.
