Ordinance addresses SRO funding

Hickman City Commissioners met for two special called meetings, Dec. 30 and Dec. 31, for amending Ordinance 19-98, and adding projected revenue to the City, from the Fulton County School System for the School Resource Officer, in the amount of $40,793.

Allocations for the $40,793 include Salary $16,728; Overtime $3,392; FICA (tax exemption) $1,520; Life/Health Insurance $8,318; Retirement Benefits $4,780; Worker’s Compensation $1,145; Training/Education Expense $490; General Liability Insurance $1,313; Operating Supplies $258; and Operating Equipment $2,849.

First reading was heard Dec. 30, with the Ordinance becoming effective following the second separate reading on Dec. 31, and publication.
