Bulldogs beat HCHS, Lady Bulldogs defeat Halls

Fulton Bulldogs Brennen Walker and Kire Tribble tied for team high scoring honors with 19 points each, in the FHS win against visiting Hickman County Falcons Friday night, 71-62.
Cam Madding chalked up 15 points in the Bulldog victory, with Amire Hobbs adding 9, Jaheim King and Deandre Patton with four a piece, and Devarious Scott, 1.
Walker found net on six of nine field goal attempts, and seven of nine times from the line. He had 14 rebounds and a couple of steal on the night.
Tribble netted seven of 11 two-point goals and five of eight free throws, and had eight boards.
Hobbs and Camarae Cobb pulled off two steal each, with Hobbs and Madding recording four and three rebounds, respectively.
In the ladies’ match, the decision went the other way for the Lady Bulldogs, as the Hickman County Lady Falcons took home the win, 47-32.
Kyisha Everett took the high scoring honors for the home team, 10 points courtesy of hitting four of six free throws and adding three two pointers.
Team mate Mia Martin was successful on two of five free throw attempts, and bucketed a two for her six points in the game, and Takyra Taylor brought in five points.
CaTya Mc Manus scored four, Brittany Maclin hit a three point basket, and Jasmine McCloyn and Jada Martin had two each.
The Lady Bulldogs added to their win column Feb. 3, knocking out Halls’ Lady Tigers, 34-26.
Kyisha Everett included two buckets from three point range in her 18 points in the game, with CaTya McManus scoring six points, Takyra Taylor, three, Brittany Maclin and Mia Martin adding two each, and Jada Martin, one point.
In the Monday night boys’ game, Cam Madding poured on three three-pointers and added three more two point goals, plus connected on three of six trips to the free throw line for his 18 point team high score, but Halls ended the night with a five point margin to their favor, beating the Bulldogs 58-53.
Kire Tribble had 11 points and Brennen Walker, 10.
Devarius Scott hit two of two trips to the line, on the way to his six points, with Camarae Cobb adding five, and Jaheim King, three points in the contest.
