FOOD FOR THOUGHT

The Community Education Department and Director Karen Dean for Fulton Independent Schools recently held a Math Night at Food Rite in Fulton. Second through fifth grade students were given problems written by their math teachers to solve in a grocery store setting which promoted how we all use math daily in real world experiences. Shown is second grade student Jerome Smith and his mother Felicity Minor solving their math problem. Door prizes were awarded to the parents/guardians and treats for the students.
