DECISION MADE BY SOUTH FULTON OFFICIALS REGARDING ELECTRIC SERVICE FOR CITY
February 25, 2020

On a 5-0 vote in special called commission session at 5 p.m. today, South Fulton Mayor David Lamb, Commissioners Beatrice Wilcox, Tommy Pruitt, Billy Williams and Terry Taylor voted to continue with Weakley County Electric System as the provider for electricity, and enter into negotiations for contract specifics, for a term of up to 25 years with the system. Mayor Lamb, City Attorney Kirk Moore and City Manager Johnny Bacon will represent the city in negotiations, following additional action taken this evening.
