Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announces three day road closure In Fulton
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of U.S. 45 in Fulton County for three days, beginning March 4.
According to a press release issued by Keith Todd, Public Informations Officer with Districts One and Two, KTC, U.S. 45/North Highland Drive in Fulton will be closed to all traffic to allow concrete deck and curb repairs to the Canadian National Railroad Overpass near the 1 mile marker in Fulton County, along U.S. 45, between Deere Street and North College Street.
The section is expected to close at 8 a.m. on March 4, after morning school bus routes are completed, and expected to re-open to traffic at some point on the afternoon of March 6.
There will be no marked detour, however motorists may self detour via KY 307 and KY 116. Trucks should detour via the Purchase Parkway or other appropriate routes.
