Enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms

According to a press release from Hugh Caldwell, Chairman, Fulton Co. LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) there is a level 3 of 5 (Enhanced Risk) of severe thunderstorms for this afternoon and evening across our region. Per our Storm Prediction Center, the atmosphere will “support a threat for significant tornadoes.” Please ensure you:

1) stay abreast of the weather today/tonight

2) have multiple ways (weather radio, cell phones etc.) to be alerted of warnings, and

3) know where you would take shelter if needed.
