SHADE TREE DINING – A large crowd enjoyed barbecue pork and mutton, along with trimmings and homemade desserts and ice cream at Cayce United Methodist Church’s Annual Barbecue Supper July 18. Tables were set up to enjoy the barbecue outside, dine inside with the air conditioning, or carry-out and enjoy in the comfort of their homes. The annual event has taken place for over 100 years. LOADING UP – The cooler temperatures July 18 allowed hundreds of people to enjoy barbecue pork and mutton, with all the trimmings and homemade dessert and ice cream at the Cayce United Methodist Church Annual Barbecue on the church lawn. Tables were set up outside and inside for the diners to enjoy their meal, or a carry-out could be enjoyed at home. This annual tradition has continued for over 100 years. (Photo submitted)
