During his daily press conference March 22, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced he will order the closure of all non-essential businesses in Kentucky.

To take effect March 23 at 8 p.m., non-essential businesses to close will include entertainment, sporting goods, clothing, shoes, jewelry, florists, books, furniture, auto dealerships, but not repair shops. Like restaurants, those businesses may still provide delivery and pick-up options.

The order will allow shopping at grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, banks and auto repair shops. Liquor stores are also exempt from the order and will remain open.
