(Editor's Note: The following information was received from Tim Watkins, Director of Schools for Obion County Schools, today, March 26.)

Food Service

Meals will be provided for pickup at schools and various locations throughout the county Monday through Friday while we are out of school. A list of pickup locations can be found on the district website. Starting April 1 we will also be delivering meals to students who are unable to get to a pickup site. Those children’s parents will need to request delivery. Those request will be made by contacting the child’s school and informing the school how many children need the meals in the house and the address to deliver the meals.

Instructional Materials

Beginning Wednesday, April 1st, teachers will be posting materials on-line through various methods and producing hard copies for students who do not have access to on-line material. Materials will be available for pickup/ drop off at the schools. Like the meals, parents may request delivery of the instructional materials. If requested those materials will be delivered and picked up on a weekly basis in conjunction with the meal deliveries. If a student or parent has questions about the instructional materials, they can call the child’s school or email the teacher or principal.
